Where does your beef come from?

We're proud to source our beef from carefully selected farms across the British Isles and beyond, chosen for their commitment to animal welfare, sustainable farming practices, and exceptional quality. Our core range features grass-fed and pasture-raised cattle, which produce beef with superior marbling, flavour, and nutritional profile compared to grain-finished alternatives. We work with farmers who prioritise slow, natural growth — because great beef simply can't be rushed. For our premium and heritage cuts, we source from specialist breeds including Hereford, Longhorn, and Dexter cattle, as well as internationally acclaimed breeds such as Wagyu and Black Angus, depending on availability and the cut in question. Every supplier we work with is vetted for their farming standards, and we visit farms where possible to ensure we stand behind everything we sell. Our mission is to connect you with beef that's been raised with care, handled with respect, and delivered to your door at peak quality. If you'd like to know more about the provenance of a specific product, feel free to reach out to us at hello@thesteaksociety.co.uk.
